10 Bible Passages for Your C-Section!

Even as the 39th hour of hard labor approached, the thought of a Cesarean Section never entered into my mind as a possibility. There I was, expecting to deliver at any moment, and the next thing I knew, a firm but gentle nurse came to my side to tell me that they may have to do an emergency C-Section as my unborn baby and I were both showing signs of distress. I nodded my head and before I knew what was happening, a flood of people came into the room, handed my husband some scrubs, and told me we were being prepped for surgery.

And you know what? It was okay!

It turns out, my son was somehow tangled up and would never have delivered naturally. The surgery saved both our lives. My C-Sections were a blessing! I have had 3 C-Sections, 2 emergency ones-the last one was scheduled. My boys were all born healthy and vibrant and although recovery was difficult, it was worth it.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice! Philippians 4:4

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7

From one man he made every nation of the human race to inhabit the entire earth, determining their set times and the fixed limits of the places where they would live, so that they would search for God and perhaps grope around for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move about and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we too are his offspring.' Acts 17;:26-28

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?' Hebrews 13:6

O Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress. Isaiah 33:2

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10

Praise the Lord. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands. He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Psalms 112:1 and 7

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. 2 Thessalonians 3:16
